General description
Sprouty-related, EVH1 domain-containing protein 1 (SPRED1) is a tyrosine kinase substrate which has a cysteine-rich domain which resembles the SPR domain at the carboxy terminus. SPRED1 associated with Ras blocks phosphorylation of Raf and disrupts MAP kinase signaling during the differentiation of neuronal cells and myocytes. A mutation in SPRED1 has been linked to Lugius syndrome, an autosomal dominant RAS-MAPK pathway syndrome.
Immunogen
Linear peptide corresponding to human Spred-1.
